HebHomes Unveils AI-Generated Podcasts

HebHomes has launched a new suite of AI-generated podcasts powered by Google’s NotebookLM technology, transforming how clients learn about the self-build journey. These podcasts—created from HebHomes’ own guides, instructions, and technical documents—simulate natural discussions between two hosts that, remarkably, don’t actually exist.

The episodes are now embedded across the HebHomes website, including the Guidance section and throughout the Members Area. Each podcast explains a specific stage of the HebHomes process in a clear, conversational way, giving clients an easier way to absorb detailed information.

Managing Director Alasdair Stephen explained how the idea began:
“I first heard about this feature over a year ago when a DeepMind Google employee told me that Google used podcasts to disseminate crucial information to staff. It’s not available to everyone and is an incredible learning tool. Effectively, we have uploaded HebHomes guides and other source information to explain the fundamentals of our business and process.”

Every major stage of the HebHomes journey now has a dedicated podcast episode—covering topics from choosing a design, to preparing a site, right through to construction and handover. The AI hosts break down complex aspects of building regulations, timelines, and responsibilities in plain language, helping clients feel more confident and informed.

Alasdair added:
