Hebhomes partner with Binderholz

Hebhomes are delighted to announce a partnership with Binderholz to supply our range of houses in CLT. 

Binderholz is the world's leading manufacturer of CLT BBS, a multi-layered solid wood construction.  A global company with thousands of employees across Europe, Binderholz were seen by Hebhomes as an ideal partner.

Hebhomes director Alasdair Stephen said,

'Along with engineers at IPM Associates, we have been working towards introducing our range of houses in CLT for a number of years.  Until now building in CLT was seen as too expensive for domestic properties.  However, by dealing directly with the Binderholz factory in Austria we can provide our kits in this outstanding product at a very competitive price - only marginally more expensive than SIP'.

CLT is seen as a building material of the future as in sourced from sustainable forests and is carbon positive.  As well as the structure it can be used as the timber finish to the house and by using wood fibre insulation on the outside with timber cladding, can mean an almost entire timber building - an incredibly green proposition.
