Architecture Practice of the Year

The sister company of Hebhomes, Dualchas Architects, has been named Architectural Practice of the Year at the Scottish Design Awards 2025.

After picking up a Gold Award in the Residential Single Home category for Torrin, and a Silver Award for Glasan in Projects Under 250K, Dualchas won the final award to be handed out at the ceremony in Glasgow. Speaking after the event, Dualchas director and founder, and Managing Director of Hebhomes,  Alasdair Stephen said:

“We have seen the quality of architecture in the Highlands of Scotland improve greatly since we started back in the 1990s.  It is wonderful that the influencial role that Dualchas has played in this has been rewarded. Hebhomes is very much part of that story."

Dualchas director Neil Stephen added, 'We can only do good architecture with good clients who really care about design. We’ve been very lucky in that respect, and we realise what a privilege it is to get to do what we do.

We have a great team in both the Skye and Glasgow studios, and we’re delighted that all their efforts, skills and enthusiasm has been recognised.”

The Scottish Design Awards celebrates design across a variety of creative industries in Scotland, including animation, advertising, publishing, interior design and architecture.
